Tip:

很多人都知道refuse to do的用法，以至於認爲refuse只能作不及物動詞使用，如Why did the patient refuse to take the medicine? (那個病人爲什麼不肯服藥?)其實 refuse也可作及物動詞，後面可直接接名詞，如It didn't occur to him that she would refuse his invitation. (他沒有想到她會拒絕他的邀請)。拒絕對方時語氣一定要委婉，爲將來留餘地的同時，也是對對方的一種尊重。所以不妨說 We are expecting cooperation with you next time. (希望有機會下次合作)。
