Suzanne:Yeah, I guess. There’s just so much going on in my life right now.

Albert:Like what?

Suzanne:Well, I’m really busy at work. I feel like I’m doing the job of three people!Plus, my mon has been quite sick, so I’m taking care of her.

Albert:So that’s why I haven’t heard from you!

Suzanne:At the end of the day, I’m too tired to even pick up the phone to chat.

Albert:That’s okay. Just be careful. You don’t get sick, too.

Suzanne:I know. I’ve been feeling really exhausted lately, but thanks for your concern.

Albert:Don’t forget I’m always here if you need a friend.

Suzanne:Thanks. I know I can always count on you!

1.I haven't heard from you for a while.
[口語拓展]I haven’t seen you for a while.
I haven’t spoken to you for a while.

2.I’m taking care of her.
[口語拓展] I’m caring for her.

3.I’ve been feeling really exhausted lately.
[口語拓展] I’ve been feeling really run-down lately.

I’m beat.
I’m worn out.

4.I can always count on you!
I can always rely on you.
I can always depend on you.
Count on ,rely on, depend on 都有“依賴”“依靠”的意思。
