英語四級改錯題常考要點 介詞

英語學習的過程中，大家認爲最難的就是語法部分。介詞是考試中出現的比較多的一個部分，而其中考的最多的就是介詞的固定搭配問題。

(一) 介詞搭配

例：The teeth in the upper jaw function together those in the lower jaw to cut, tear, and grind food.

分析：和…一起，所以together in應該爲together with，

例：The Allegheny Mountain range is rich of coal.

分析：be rich of 改爲be rich in

例：The rotation of the Earth on its axis is responsible to the alternation of periods of light and darkness.

分析：responsible to 應改爲responsible for。形容詞responsible後接名詞作賓語時要加介詞for。

(二) 最重要的兩個介詞

1、介詞of 多餘或者遺漏

例：Mosquitoes usually lay eggs, singly or in batches, on top stagnant water.

分析：on top 應改爲top of stagnant。on top of …是因定表達法，意爲“在…上面”。

例：Christopher Plummer is a Canadian actor who has starred in stage, television, and film productions on both sides the Atlantic Ocean.

分析：sides the 應改爲sides of the。 sides爲名詞，the Atlantic Ocean也是名詞，中間明顯少了一個介詞。

2、介詞by

一種情況表示被動，be+過去分詞+by

另一種表示通過……的方式， by doing

例：The ceremony of marriage in the United States can be performed from a justice of the peace.

分析：performed from 應改爲performed by。謂語動詞是被動式，performed的動作執行者應該由介詞by來引導。

例：Along the east coast ,American Indian women's councils could veto a declaration of war at refusing to supply moccasins and field rations.

分析：refusing to 應改爲by refusing。通過拒絕提供鞋子和糧食，表示通過某種方式做某事要用介詞by,故將at refusing 改爲by refusing。

例：Algebra is the branch of mathematics concerned with operations on sets of numbers or other elements that are often represented at symbols.

分析：at應改爲by。動作的發出者應該用介詞by來引導
