(一)翻譯題型描述

翻譯部分測試學生把漢語所承載的信息用英語表達出來的能力，所佔分值比例爲15%，考試時間 30分鐘。翻譯題型爲段落漢譯英。翻譯內容涉及中國的歷史、文化、經濟、社會發展等。四級長度爲 140-160個漢字， 六級長度爲180-200個漢字。

(二)翻譯評分標準

本題滿分爲15分，成績分爲六個檔次∶13-15分、10-12分、7-9分、4-6分、1-3分和0分。各檔次的評分標準見下表∶

在確定分數檔之後 ，閱卷員需要通過對考生翻譯中的語法、用詞以及拼寫錯誤進行量化，然後扣分，最終決定考生的翻譯分數。而語法的量化考覈也有一定的標準，具體見下表∶

Paper cutting is one of China's most popular traditional folk arts. Chinese paper cutting has a history of more than 1,500 years.It was widespread particularly during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. People often beautify their homes with paper cuttings. During the Spring Festival and wedding celebrations, in particular, paper cuttings are used to decorate doors, windows and rooms in order to enhance thejoyous atmosphere. The color most frequently used in paper cutting is red, which symbolizes health and prosperity. Chinese paper cutting is very popular around the world and it is often given as a present to foreign friends.
