A: Yeah, me either. And researches also show that they can affect our sleep and result in cancer. But many of my friends like to drink soft drinks. Some of them are even crazy about soft drinks.

B: I think government should take some measures to regulate the sales of soft drinks. For example, they should set strict standards for soft drinks and supervise the quality of soft drinks sternly.

A: I can’t agree with you more. Health is basis for every society. Therefore, government definitely should attach importance to this issue. Apart from what you have mentioned, government should also supervise the shops selling soft drinks to make sure that soft drinks are stored in good condition in shops.

B: What’s more, factories producing soft drinks are supposed to develop new drinks that are much healthier rather than only be profit-oriented.

A: Right, people nowadays are paying more and more attention to health. By improving the quality of soft drinks factories will also increase their profits.
