英語與中文的定語位置不同
編者按：對於漢語來說，只有前置定語，即所有修飾成分都放在名詞的前面，沒有後置定語;而英語既有許多前置定語，又有很多後置定語。下面小編就來帶你一起學習下，希望對大家有幫助。
例如：
a photograph of a family. 一幅家庭照。of a family作aphotograph的定語。
twelve new chairs imported from Europe.12把從歐洲進口的新椅子。twelve和new分別修飾chairs，是其前置定語。imported from Europe是chairs的後置定語。這裏既出現了前置定語，又出現了後置定語。
句子中定語成分：
英語外刊題目：
Warplanes mount fresh airstrikes in Syria.
戰機準備上演敘利亞的新空襲。
這裏fresh作airstrikes的前置定語。
in Syria作airstrikes的後置定語。
mount 是及物動詞，作謂語。
The aerial attacksfocused on a rebel-held area of northwestern Syria where dozens of people werekilled on Tuesday in a suspected chemical attack.
空襲集中於敘利亞北部的一個叛軍佔領區，在那裏有12個人在星期二被可能的化學武器殺害了。
the aerial作attacks的前置定語。
a rebel-held作area的前置定語;of northwestern Syria作area的後置定語。
where指in northwestern Syria。
dozens of作people的前置定語。
a suspected chemical作attack的前置定語，這裏有三個詞彙a, suspected和chemical分別修飾attack，並作其定語。
