原因狀語從句知識點歸納與總結

1、引導原因狀語從句的從屬連詞有because（因爲）, as（由於）, since（既然）, now（that）（既然）, when（既然）, seeing （that） （由於，鑑於）, considering （that）（考慮到）, given （that） （考慮到）等。
I do it because I like it. 我做這件事是因爲我喜歡。
As it was raining, I stayed at home. 由於下雨，我便呆在家裏。
Since you're not interested, I won't tell you about it. 既然你不感興趣，那我就不告訴你了。
Now that you are well again, you can travel. 既然價錢恢復了健康，你就可以去旅行了。
How can they learn anything when they spend all their spare time watching television? 他們把所有的空閒時間都用來看電視了, 還能學什麼東西呢?
Seeing that you’re already at the door, I suppose I must invite you inside. 鑑於你已到了門口，我想我必須邀請你入內。
Considering he’s only just started, he knows quite a lot about it. 考慮到他只是剛剛開始, 他對此的瞭解已經不少了。
She can drive by herself because she has passed her test. 她現在可以獨立開車了，因爲她已經通過了駕駛考試。
Given that she is interested in children, I am sure teaching is the right career for her. 考慮到她喜歡孩子, 我可以肯定教書是最適合她的職業。
I’m afraid we don’t stock refills for pens like yours because there’s little demand for them. 對不起，我們沒有你那種筆的筆芯，因爲銷路不好。

注意：
1. considering 和 given 還可用介詞。如：
Considering his age, the little boy reads very well. 就他的年齡來說，這小孩讀得挺好的。
Given her interest in children, I am sure teaching is the right career for her. 考慮到她喜歡孩子, 我可以肯定教書是最適合她的職業。

2. 表示“因爲”的連詞不能與表示“所以”的 so 連用。如：
譯：因爲他病了，所以沒有出席會議。
誤：Because he was ill, so he didn’t attend the meeting.
正：He didn’t attend the meeting because he was ill.
正：He was ill so he didn’t attend the meeting.
