居里夫人 Madam Curie

Madam Curie was born in Poland in 1867 and she is a French physicist. When studying in Paris, she lived a poor life but worked very hard. She married with Pierre Curie in 1859 when they discovered polonium and radium. Thanks to this great discovery, she and her husband won the Nobel Prize. In 1911, Madam Curie won the Nobel Prize again after the death of her husband, making her become the only woman who had won two Nobel Prizes in the word. As a pioneer of successful woman, Madam Curie’s example had a remarkable influence on the whole world. Although she was famous, she cared little about money and fame and still went on with her scientific research.
居里夫人於1867年出生于波蘭，是一位法國物理學家。在巴黎學習時，她過着貧困的生活，但工作卻很努力。1859年，她與皮埃爾•居里結婚，當時他們發現了元素釙和鐳。由於這個偉大的發現，她和她的丈夫獲得了諾貝爾獎。1911年，居里夫人在丈夫去世後再次獲得諾貝爾獎，使她成爲世界上唯一一位兩次獲得諾貝爾獎的女性。
