敍利亞支持俄羅斯提出的化武方案

The Syrian government has accepted a Russian proposal to put its chemical weapons under International control for subsequent dismantling to avoid a possible U.S. military strike.

Prime Minister Wael al-Halki said the government backed the initiative in order "to spare Syrian blood."

Meanwhile, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said France will submit a draft resolution to the United Nation Security Council that would include a condemnation of the August 21 chemical weapons attack and call for those behind it to be punished at the International Criminal Court.敍利亞政府接受了俄羅斯提出的化武方案。俄羅斯提議，把敍利亞的化學武器置於國際控制之下，然後予以譭棄，以避免美國可能發動的軍事打擊。

敍利亞總理哈爾基説，敍利亞政府支持這項倡議，“以免敍利亞人流血”。

與此同時，法國外長法比尤斯説，法國將向聯合國安理會提交一項決議草案，草案內容將包括譴責8月21日發生的化武襲擊事件並呼籲由國際刑事法院懲罰元兇。
