青春是什麼，我們該如何看待青春呢？

塞繆爾·烏爾曼(1840-1924)生於德國猶太人家庭，11歲時移居美國，70多歲纔開始寫作，題材包括愛、自然、宗教、家庭、朋友等，其中以《青春》(Youth)，亦即此名言的出處，最爲知名，美國麥克阿瑟將軍生前也視其爲座右銘。
