A:John's father got married again.

B:Married whom?

A:If I tell you., you must be completely taken aback.

be taken aback：大吃一驚

講解：aback是副詞，指“突然地”“淬不及防地”。Take sb aback意思是“把某個人弄得措手不及”，常用於被動語態中，則是be taken aback。
