每天三分鐘學英語 第50期:英語連讀發音規則

連讀是一個很大的話題，學習起來也很有講究，但是今天咱們先不說太多術語來讓大家犯困，而是先講一個有趣的連讀現象。

Crawly: Yeah, it's the stage crew from your last show. They say their paychecks bounced. 是的，是上一場演出的舞臺工作人員。他們說他們的支票跳票了。
Moon: Tell'em I'll call up the bank and make sure they're paid tout de suite. 告訴他們我會給銀行打電話並且確保他們馬上就能領錢。

原文中的Tell'em = Tell them，因爲連讀的原因寫成Tell’em

規則：當輔音結尾的詞跟him, her, them這幾個詞連讀時，h和th會被省掉

所以：
Tell them 念成/’teləm/
Tell him 念成 /’telim/
Tell her 念成 /’telər/
