雅思閱讀考試最常見的考點
雅思閱讀考試只是測試考生對字面的閱讀理解能力，不會對文章背後的深層內容作仔細的考查。下面是小編給大家整理的雅思閱讀相關考點，大家可以作爲學習的參考。
讀題目時特別要注意的考點
1、題目中的數據詞
如果題目中出現了“statistical, statistics, cost, fund, large number, percent, percentage”等的時候，文章中相對應的句子會出現相對應的與數據相關的詞。下面看幾個例子：
例子一：
劍5 TEST 1 Passage 1 Q1 多項選擇選項C. It was famous because of the large number of people involved. 題目中出現了數據詞“large number”, 根據這個詞在文章中找與題目意思有關的句子，並且其中有可能包括數據。在文章中第5段找到這麼一句話：“He was also helped by six assistants, two of whom died whilst the Dictionary was still in preparation.”根據兩句話的意思，“6個助手”不算一個比較大(large number)的數據，所以這個選項是不對的。
例子二：
劍5 TEST 1 Passage 2 Q17 “the expected statistical outcome”, 是一個“段落細節”題，讓考生找這句話在文章中哪一段出現。題目有一個非常明顯的數據詞“statistical”, 根據猜測，文章中相對應的句子可能會出現數據。文章中D段：“Prior to carrying out the experiment, Milgram explained his idea to a group of 39 psychiatrists and asked them to predict the average percentage of people in an ordinary population who would be willing to administer the highest shock level of 450 volts. ...... The psychiatrists felt that 'most subjects would not go beyond 150 volts' and they further anticipated that only four per cent would go up to 300 volts. Furthermore, they thought that only a lunatic fringe of about one in 1,000 would give the highest shock of 450 volts.”。文章中的數據“only four per cent”和“one in 1,000”對應了題目中的“statistical”, 同時，文章中的“predict the average percentage of people”與題目中的“expected statistical outcome”相對應，所以這道題對應的句子應該是這段話。
例子三：
劍7 TEST 2 Passage 2 Q14 “a cost involved in purifying domestic water”, 這道題同樣是一道“段落細節”題，讓考生找出這句話在文章中哪一段出現。題目中的數據詞是“cost”, 文章中應該會出現一些與“錢和數據”有關的詞，在文章中可以非常明顯地看到E段有很多數據：“The costs included: £120m for removal of pesticides; £16m for removal of nitrates; £55m for removal of phosphates and soil; £23m for the removal of the bug cryptosporidium from drinking water by water companies.”而判斷的時候發現文章中的“drinking water(飲用水)”與題目中的“domestic water(家庭用水)”相對應，所以此題對應的就是文章的E段。
2、題目中的時間詞
如果題目中出現了與“最初(previous, original, originally, initial, initially, beginning, before, at first...)”、“最後(at last, later, end, finally, ultimately, eventually...)”和“現在(now, these days, current, currently, our time, with us...)”有關的詞，因爲題目和文章內容的一致性，所以文章中也會出現相對應的詞。
例子一：
劍5 TEST 2 Passage 3 Q28 “In Europe, modem science emerged at the same time as the nation state. At first, the scientific language of choice remained __________.”題目中有一個時間詞“at first(最初)”，到文章中找與前面相關的時間詞，在文章第5段有這樣一句話：“There were several reasons why original science continued to be written in Latin.” 清晰地出現了時間詞“original”, 根據這句話意思，題目應該填“Latin”。
例子二：
劍9 TEST 3 Passage 3 Q32 “a reference to what Shannon initially intended to achieve in his research”, 是一道“段落細節”題，是整個雅思考題中最難的題目。根據定位詞“Shannon”和時間詞“initially”, 在文章C段句(This all seems light years away from the down-to-earth uses Shannon originally had for his work, which began when he was a 22-year-old graduate engineering student at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1939.)裏看到了定位詞“Shannon”和時間詞“originally”, 再仔細讀句子的意思，兩句話的意思對應得很緊密。所以此題應該選擇C段。
例子三：
劍9 TEST 1 Passage 1 Q10 “What was the name finally used to refer to the first colour Perkin invented?”, 題目中的時間詞是“finally”, 而文章第8段中相對應句子是“Perkin originally named his dye Tyrian Purple, but it later became commonly known as mauve (from the French for the plant used to make the colour violet)”，題目中“finally”的時間對應詞是“later”。
3、題目中的並列、因果、轉折詞
還是因爲題目和文章意思的一致性，題目中的邏輯關係在文章中一般也會出現，出現最多的是“並列關係”、“因果關係”和“轉折關係”。
1)並列關係詞：and, as well as, first...second..., either...or..., neither...nor...
例子一：
劍九 TEST 1 Passage 1 Q4 “Perkin was still young when he made the discovery that made him rich and famous.”, 題目中出現了並列關係“rich and famous”, 根據定位詞“Perkin、young、discovery”, 在文章中找到的對應句子是第3段中的：“Perkin's scientific gifts soon caught Hofmann's attention and, within two years, he became Hofmann's youngest assistant. Not long after that, Perkin made the scientific breakthrough that would bring him both fame and fortune.”, 文章中出現了並列關係：“fame and fortune”, 根據同義替換關係，“fame”對應“famous”、“fortune”對應“rich”。這是一道判斷題，所以這道題應該選擇“TRUE”。
