Dictionaries are of great importance and use in study, no matter in Chinese learning or English learning. They are another teachers of us when we need some help. When we meet new words, the dictionaryat hand is the best choice to get help. The dictionary will tell us how the word pronounces, what it means and how to compose a phrase or sentence. And it will tell us the words with similar meanings or pronunciations. With the development of dictionaries, there are various types of dictionaries. Electronic dictionaries are the new ones. They are very popular among students,because they are easy to use and carry. But, we should use dictionaries properly and we can't depend on them all the time. Sometimes we needn't look up every new word in dictionary, but to guess its meaning according to the context. Besides, some small dictionaries or electronic dictionaries are not so comprehensive, the authoritative ones are the best.

不管是學習漢語還是學習英語，字典對學習很重要也很有用。當我們需要幫助的時候，字典是我們的另外一個老師。當我們遇到生詞的時候，手邊的字典是獲得幫助的最佳選擇。字典會告訴我們詞怎麼發音，什麼意思以及怎樣組成詞組或造句。而且它會告訴我們它們的近義詞或者近音詞。隨着字典的發展，字典的種類多種多樣。它們在學生當中很受歡迎，因爲他們使用方便，便於攜帶。但是，我們應該合理利用字典，不能總是依賴字典。有時候我們不需要每個生詞都要查字典，而只需要根據上下文猜它的意思。除此之外，一些小字典或者電子詞典不是很全面，權威的纔是最好的。

Yesterday was Saturday. It should be a leisurely day, but I was busy yesterday. I got up at eight o'clock and then I ate breakfast. After breakfast, my mother and I went to the downtown to do some shopping. We went to the departmen store, because my mother wanted to buy clothes for my father. And then we went to supermarket. I like going to supermaket because I can buy many snacks there. However, when we were in supermarket, my father called my mother suddenly. My aunt visited us! Then, we just bought some foods and went home by a taxi. When we got home, it was already four o'clock. Therefore, we had to started to prepare for the dinner. My aunt said that she would stay in my home for several days. I was very happy,because I like to stay with my aunt and I did not see her for a long time. Although I was busy yesterday, I was very happy.

昨天是星期六，應該是悠閒的一天，但是昨天我很忙。我八點起牀然後吃早餐。吃完早餐，我媽媽和我就到鎮上購物。我們去了百貨商店，因爲我媽媽想給爸爸買衣服。接着我們就去了超市。我喜歡逛超市，因爲我可以在那裏買很多零食。但是，當我們在超市的時候，爸爸突然打電話給媽媽說姑姑來看我們。然後，我們只買了一些晚餐的食物就打的回家了。當我們到家的時候已經將近四點了。所以我們不得不開始準備晚飯了。我姑姑說她會在我家待幾天。我很高興，因爲我喜歡和姑姑待在一起，而且我很久沒見她了。儘管昨天很忙，但是我還是很高興。
