世衛組織要將長期單身沒有性生活定義成殘疾!

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), failure to find a sexual partner is now considered a "disability."

據世界衛生組織日前表示，交不到性伴侶現在將被定義爲一種殘疾。

In a report, Telegraph said that WHO is gearing towards changing the definition of "infertility."

據《每日電訊報》報道，世衛組織正打算更改“不孕不育”的定義。

The WHO will declare next year that single men and women without medical issues, if they do not have children but want to become a parent will be classified as "infertile."

即從明年起，所有身體健康的單身男女，如果他們想要爲人父母卻又膝下無子，就會被歸爲“不孕不育”。

"The definition of infertility is now written in such a way that it includes the rights of all individuals to have a family, and that includes single men, single women, gay men, gay women," said Dr. David Adamson.

"It says an individual's got a right to reproduce whether or not they have a partner. It's a big change."

Currently, the WHO defines "infertility" as "a disease of the reproductive system defined by the failure to achieve a clinical pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse" or as "the inability of a sexually active, non-contracepting couple to achieve pregnancy in one year."

目前世衛組織將“不孕不育”定義爲“生殖系統患有某種疾病，具體表現爲定期進行無保護措施的性交，一年多以後仍未臨牀受孕”，或者“儘管夫婦性生活頻繁且無避孕措施，但一年之內無法受孕”。

Meanwhile, not everyone agrees with the proposed new definition. Express quoted Josephine Quintavalle, from Comment on Reproductive Ethics: "This absurd nonsense is not simply re-defining infertility but completely side-lining the biological process and significance of natural intercourse between a man and a woman."

然而與此同時，並不是每個人都同意這一提出的新定義。《每日快報》引用在“生殖倫理學評論”組織任職的約瑟芬·昆塔瓦萊的話稱：“荒謬！這不是重新定義不孕不育，而是不顧生物學進程，忽略男女之間的自然結合。”
