法國一名重犯乘直升機再次越獄

A notorious French gangster broke out of prison last Sunday morning, when three heavily armed accomplices landed a helicopter in the jail courtyard and flew off with him, according to local reports.

據當地媒體報道，一名臭名昭着的法國黑幫成員於上週日清晨越獄，當時三名全副武裝的同夥將一架直升機降落在監獄的院子裏並載他飛走。

Redoine Faid, 46, had been serving a 25-year sentence at a suburban Paris jail for a 2010 failed robbery in which a 26-year-old police officer was killed.

今年46歲的雷丁·法伊德因在2010年一場搶劫未遂的案件中殺死了一名26歲的警察，而被判在巴黎郊區的一所監獄中服刑25年。

Last Sunday morning, three men armed with AK-47s landed a helicopter in the Réau prison courtyard, disabled security cameras and flew off with the French-Algerian gangster in just a few minutes without injuring anyone, prison officials told Le Monde.

The helicopter was set afire and found by police hours later, a source told the paper.

This is the second time the career criminal has pulled off a daring jailbreak.

In April 2013, he broke out of a different jail by taking four prison guards hostage and using explosives hidden in tissue packets to blast his way through the gates. He was nabbed six weeks later in a hotel outside Paris.
