一、《青蛙王子》
旁白：Once upon a time, there was a king and his beautiful daughters. Their castle was very close to a large hot summer day, the youngest princess went into the forest to play her favourite toy, a little golden ball. She liked throwing it to the sky and then caught it. Suddenly the ball fell off and rolled into the spring. The princess was very sad when she heard a voice:
青蛙：What’s the matter, little girl?
旁白：The princess stood up and looked around.
公主：Who is there?
青蛙：Down here.
公主：It’s only you. I am looking for my ball.
青蛙：Hmmm... I can help you look for it.
公主：Really?
青蛙：But what will you do for me in return?
公主：I can give you all kinds of beautiful things.
青蛙：But I have a better idea. I want to be your best friend and share everything with you. Have dinner with you, sleep next to you...
旁白：The princess felt so strange to hear this. But she had to agree to the frog’s demands because she loved her ball so much.
The frog jumped into the spring and found the ball near the bottom. Then he rolled it to the princess.

故事梗概
在人們還可以實現願望的古代，那時候有個國王，他有好幾位公主。雖然每位公主都貌美如花，但是她們中的小公主更是光豔照人，連見過很多世面的太陽，在每次向她灑下萬道金光時，也因她的美而驚奇不已。
在國王城堡附近有一片廣闊無垠的黑森林，在林中的一棵老菩堤樹下，有一口水井。天氣炎熱時，小公主總會到林中的那口井邊，坐在涼爽的井臺上。如果呆的時間比較長，她還會拿出一個金球，在手裏拋上拋下，這是她最喜歡的遊戲。
有一天，小公主把球拋出後，球卻沒有落回她拋球的小手裏，球掉在井邊，然後就滾進了井裏，小公主眼睜睜地看着它下沉。
那口井很深，簡直是深不見底，小公主開始哭泣。哭呀哭呀，似乎誰也安慰不了她。
就在這時，她聽到有個聲音對她說，“什麼事使您如此傷心啊，公主?您的眼淚連鐵石心腸的人也能感動。”
小公主擡起頭來朝發出聲音的地方看去，發現有隻青蛙正把它那呆笨腦袋瓜子伸出水面。
“噢!是你嗎?你這個搖搖晃晃的傢伙，”小公主說道，“我是在爲我掉到井裏的金球而哭呀。”
“沒有關係，別哭了。”青蛙回答，“我能夠幫助您，但是如果我再把您的球撿起來，您會給我什麼報酬呢?”
“你要什麼我就給你什麼，親愛的青蛙，”公主說，“我的任何衣服，珍珠寶石，甚至我頭上的金冠，都可以。”
“您的衣服，您的珍珠寶石，您的金冠我都用不着，”青蛙回答說，“但是，如果您會愛我，把我當作您的同伴，親吻我一下，那麼我就潛入水底，替您把金球再拿上來。”
“好的，”公主思考了一下，答道，“我答應你這個要求，只要你再把球給我拿回來。”
青蛙一聽到她表示同意，就鑽進水裏不見蹤影了。一會兒，它嘴裏銜着球冒出了水面，然後就把球扔在草地上。
當公主看到她的漂亮的玩具時，心裏非常歡喜，揀起球就走了。
就在這時候，青蛙擡起它可憐巴巴的圓眼睛懇求道：“求您了，親愛的公主，只有您的吻能夠破除邪惡的女巫施在我身上的詛咒。”
美麗的公主被它迫切的懇求打動了，她彎下腰，捧起這個滑溜溜的動物，親吻了這隻小青蛙。
瞬間，青蛙身上的咒語解除了，變成了一個有着一雙迷人而親切的眼睛的王子。
後來公主與青蛙王子結了婚，從此幸福地生活在一起。
二、《一位老太太和她的貓》
There is an old woman in England. 在英格蘭住着一位老太太。
She doesn t like children at all. 她一點也不喜歡孩子。
But she loves cats. 但她喜歡貓。
She has black cats and white cats. 她有一隻黑白相間的貓。
She has mother cats and baby cats. 她有貓媽媽和貓寶寶。
So the children like to come to her house. 所以孩子們喜歡來她的房子。
They come to play with the cats. 他們和貓一起玩耍。
More and more cats come to the old woman s house.
越來越多的貓來到了老婦人的房子。
Soon there are too many cats and the old woman can t feed them at all.
很快房子裏就有了很多貓，而老婦人已經無法餵養他們了。
Then she has an idea. 然後, 她有了一個想法。

So she gives each child a cat. Then she is happy, the children are happy, and the cats are happy, too, because they each have a home.
