A: The boss was bawling out Miss Jones for some figure-juggling errors that cost the company a bunch. He showed he plays with a clean deck and admitted it was his mistake. The boss was so pleased and he gave him a raise.

B: He is a real aboveboard guy!

A: 他是個正直、坦誠的小夥子，大家都喜歡他。

upfront: 坦率的。

straight down the line: 絕對誠實的。

on the level: 誠實的;可靠的;坦率地。

bawl out: 亂哄哄地爭吵;大聲嚷出。

juggle: 篡改，玩花招。

play with a clean deck: 在玩牌的時候，如果是“clean”的，那意味着它是誠實沒有貓膩的。這個短語在口語中用來形容人是正直誠實的或者交易是公平的。
