　　雅思寫作詞彙量不足如何入手

通過對雅思寫作了解官方範文，不難發現，雅思寫作是圍繞教育、社會、環境等大衆話題展開的。在語言表達方面，更多強調用詞的準確和多變，而不是考查用詞的專業和難度，因此考生在備考的時候，可以按照相關話題進行詞彙的梳理，既可以是別人已經整理好的，也可以是自己從閱讀各類話題範文中摘錄出來的。這些詞彙跟雅思寫作緊密相關，有話題語境爲背景，又加以合理歸類，所以遺忘率會較低而利用率則較高。而對於話題中的少數專業詞彙，建議視時間和能力，量力而行，可以明確，沒有專業詞彙，雅思寫作照樣可以拿七分。

另一方面，雅思寫作和其他考場作文一樣，受考查形式的制約，其評判本身是存在一定侷限性的。換句話說，考官並不瞭解考生真實的寫作能力，或者具體到詞彙量的大小，他只能根據這幾百個單詞的文章來進行判斷，所以從應試的角度來說，詞彙量相對有限的考生只要使文章中詞彙“顯得比較豐富”就可以了。想要做到這點，推薦給考生以下兩個方法：

第一、同義轉換

設想碰到一個懂中文的外國人，他在和你交談的過程中涉及到錢的話題，他不光會說中文的人民幣、鈔票，還會說大團結、老人頭，甚至連孔方兄都知道，你會覺得他的中文詞彙量小麼?同樣的，一篇雅思作文中，如果你在表達“重要”這個出現頻率極高的意思的時候，除了important以外，還可以把crucial,critical,vital,indispensable等詞信手拈來的話，有什麼理由讓考官覺得你的詞彙量不足呢，當然，或許你也就只積累了幾個寫作中高頻出現的詞彙而已，但效果已經達到了，不是麼?

第二、詞彙活用

雅思寫作評分標準中，對於詞彙的適當應用有一定的分數標準。閱讀一些雅思官方範文，可以看到，很多詞不難，但是用得很恰當，自己以前沒有這樣用過，這就是範文的高明之處了。詞彙量一方面是指認知詞彙的廣度，但另一方面就是掌握詞彙的深度了。很多詞彙，我們認識，但不一定完全會用，比如benefit這個詞，它既可以做名詞，表示利益，好處，也可以做動詞，及物時表示使……受益，不及物時表示從……中受益，還可以衍生出beneficial有益處的和beneficiary受益人。因此如果要表達某事物帶來好處這個意思，光用benefit這個詞的不同用法，就可以有五種以上的表達方式，更不用提句型的變化和同義詞的替換了。況且，把已經認知的詞進行用法上的拓展，遠比記憶一個新詞要省時省力，而需要做的僅僅只是平時碰到的時候，記上一筆。
