今年的“地球一小時”活動將於2012年3月31日晚8:30至 9:30舉行。

2011年的活動中，約有135個國家的5200個城鎮爲地球熄燈一小時，用實際行動強烈呼籲民衆採取行動應對氣候變化。

“地球一小時”活動是由世界自然基金會(WWF)組織的。WWF是世界上最大且最受尊敬的獨立保護組織，在全球擁有將近500萬名的支持者和一個覆蓋100多個國家和地區的網絡。它的使命是阻止地球自然環境的惡化以及構建一個人與自然和諧相處的美好未來。
