I love travelling in the country, but I don't like losing my way.
I went on an excursion recently, but my trip took me longer than I expected.
‘I'm going to Woodford Green,'I said to the conductor as I got on the bus,‘but I don't know where it is.'
‘I'll tell you where to get off,'answered the conductor.I sat in the front of the bus to get a good view of the r some time, the bus stopped. Looking round, I realized with a shock that I was the only passenger left on the bus.
‘You'll have to get off here.'the conductor said.‘This is as far as we go.'
‘Is this Woodford Green?'asked.
‘Oh dear,'said the conductor suddenly.‘I forgot to put you off.'
‘It doesn't matter,'I said.‘I'll get off here.'
‘We're going back now,' said the conductor.
‘Well, in that case, I prefer to stay on the bus,'I answered.

我喜歡在鄉間旅行, 但卻不願意迷路. 最近我作了一次短途旅行, 但這次旅行所花費的時間比我預計的要長.
"我要去伍德福德草地, "我一上車就對售票員說, "但我不知道它在哪兒. "

love/like doing sth. ：喜歡做某事
the country: the countryside
lose one's way:迷路
2.I went on an excursion recently, but my trip took me longer than I expected.
excusion:a usually short journey made for pleasure; an outing
go on an excursion:做一次短途旅行＝have an excursion : go on 可譯爲 "進行"
go on a trip/journey：做一次旅行
take:花費..時間
注意：take表示此含義時，主語通常不用人，而用某件事，並常用帶先行主語it的結構
than I expected：比我想象的...
3.‘I'll tell you where to get off,' answered the conductor.
where to get off:疑問副詞+不定式結構
4.I sat in the front of the bus to get a good view of the countryside.
in the front of:在...內部的前面（the : 特指, 範圍）
to get a good view of：看...有更好的視野
is as far as we go.
as far as 表示程度或範圍
6.I forgot to put you off.
put sb. off:讓某人下車
that case, I prefer to stay on the bus
in that case:要是那樣的話
in any case:不管什麼情況
prefer to：情願做...
