As someone who does both on a casual basis, I prefer video games. Sports are fantastic as a team-based activity, as well as a great way to get exercise. But I think at this point in game development, where graphics are beautiful, gameplay is smooth and fluid, and storylines are intricate and engaging, I personally believe that video games have much more to offer than simple teamwork and social interaction.
