B: Ok dad, I will do it in a minute, let me just finish this level of this game. 好的，爸爸，我待會就做，讓我先把這一級的遊戲打完吧。

A: No, I said now! Plus, you are grounded, you're not allowed to play video games. I want you to make your bed, do the laundry and then come downstairs and sweep the floors. 不行，我是說先自愛！並且，你被禁足了。我希望你能把牀收拾好，把衣服洗好，然後下樓清潔地面。

2. You are grounded. 你被禁足了。

在標榜最自由最人性號稱“孩子天堂”的美國，父母會給不聽話的孩子說you are grounded，然後就看見小孩子一蹦三尺高地抗議最後卻只好呆在家裏哪兒也不能去了，還不能看電視打遊戲。“禁足”一詞在美國可謂家喻戶曉。

3. pull weight 盡力，竭盡所能

Good. I expect you to pullweight. 好的，我期望你能竭盡所能。

Either you pullweight or we replace you. 要麼你盡心盡力，否則我們就把你替換掉。
