我們究竟爲什麼要讀書？

9月9月9月，作爲一隻學習僧，9月是個可喜可悲的月份。可喜的是可以回學校和小夥伴們一起飛，不用在家給親媽嫌棄。可悲的是又要上學了，又要學習了，又要考試了。在國內，一般來說都是從3歲開始上學，幼兒園、小學、初中、高中、大學，學了差不多20年，童鞋你知道我們爲什麼要讀書嗎？

（1）爲國家而讀書（studying for country）
奧巴馬的衆多演講中曾近講了一個話題《我們爲什麼要上學？》 他說：愛國不是空洞的，而是具體的做好某件事情，比如好好讀書，這決定着國家的未來。

e.g. What you make of your education will decide nothing less than the future of this country.

你們的教育將決定這個國家的未來。

（2）使自己更具有文化內涵（become more cultural connotation）

e.g. When you see the beautiful sunset and a flock of birds flying in the distance，you will think of ”Proud eagle flies high in the sky, with rosy clouds floating aside” instead of too many birds.

當你看到夕陽餘暉，孤雁翱翔時，你會想起落霞與孤鶩齊飛，秋水同長天一色，而不是很多鳥。

（3）有選擇的權利（have a choice），能有尊嚴的活着（live with dignity）,而不是隻會玩手機。

e.g. To know you have a choice each day , starting afresh.

明白每天都有選擇的權利，可以從新開始。

e.g. Even in the poorest, we have to live with dignity.

即使在最窮困的時候，我們也要有尊嚴地活着。

（4）求在我花樣的年華里（in my most beautiful years）遇到你

當然，在男神縱橫的年代裏，有時候讀書，只爲了變成最美的自己，遇見更好的你。

e.g. Just ask for meeting you in my most beautiful years.

只求在我最美的花樣年華中遇見你。

e.g. In your life, there will at least one time that you forget yourself for someone, asking for no result, no company, no ownership nor love. Just ask for meeting in my beautiful years.

一生該有一次，爲了某人而忘了自己，不求結果，不求同行，不求曾經擁有，甚至不求你愛我，只求在我最美的年華，遇見你。
