David: What's your major?

You: English.

英語。

David: What year are you in?

幾年級了？

You: I am in Grade Four this year.

今年四年級。

David: In the United States, each university year has a different name: freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior.

在美國，每個年級都有不同的名稱: freshman、sophomore、junior和senior。

You: I don't like to suffer more than I need to. Many students suffer from the heavy workload.

我不喜歡上二年級。學生在那一年裏特別辛苦。

David: Suffer? I mean sophomore, not suffer more. I am saying the second year: sophomore. Oh, maybe you suffer every year?

辛苦？我是說sophomore（二年級學生），不是suffer more（更辛苦）。二年級學生稱爲“sophomore”。你是不是每年都很辛苦呢？

You: That is what I mean. But I like this year better than others. We don't have any schoolwork, and we can study on our own.

是的，不過今年好多了。最後一年沒什麼學習任務。我們可以做我們想做的事情。

David: I think many students , English majors in particular, look for language exchange partners. How about you?

我覺得似乎很多學生（尤其是英語專業的學生）會找外國留學生相互學習。你呢？

You: I am not interested in that.
