反潮族 Trend-bender

手寫信件、紙質圖書，還有朋友相見言歡，這些似乎有些過時的做法帶給我們的心靈體驗卻是長久不衰的。所以，在數字橫行的今天，偶爾做個“反潮族”也是不錯的體驗呢！

Trend-benders are people who try to bring back old trends. They ride a bike to work when they can afford a car, write snail-mail whenever possible in preference to e-mail and prefer reading "real" books and publications instead of e-books.

反潮族（trend-bender）指那些試圖迴歸老傳統的人。比如，他們有錢買車，但仍然選擇騎自行車上班；可能的情況下儘量選擇手寫蝸牛信，而不是發送電子郵件；更願意閱讀“真正的”圖書，而不是電子書。

For example:

My friend Lily is a trend-bender. She prefers sending greeting cards before the New Year instead of mass texting.

我的朋友莉莉是個反潮族。快到新年的時候，她不會給我們羣發短信，而是選擇郵寄賀卡。
