一、Be 動詞(am, is, are)的用法
口訣：I 用am , you 用are ,is 連着他(he)她(she)它(it)。單數統統用is，複數一律都用are. 變疑問，往前提，句末問號莫丟棄，變否定，更容易，be 後not莫忘記，疑問否定任你變，句首大寫莫遲疑。

通常情況下，主格作主語,賓格作賓語,其中主格與動詞be (am, is, are) 的連用如下：I am 我是We are我們是You are你是You are你們是He is他是She is 她是They are 他(她,它)們是It is它是。另外: are 是 is 的複數,主語是複數與 are 連用, 主語是單數與 is連用。人稱代詞主格會與跟在它後面的be動詞縮寫。如I am=I’m ,you are=you’re, He is=he’s, she is=she’s, it is =it’s we are=we’re,they are=they’re
形容詞性的物主代詞(只作定語)+名詞, 如my book 我的書 her hat 她的帽子。形容詞可作定語,形容詞(定語) + 名詞, 如good boy好男孩favorite subject最喜歡的科目。形容詞可與 be (am, is, are) 連用作定語, be (am, is, are) + 形容詞 (表語) 如 He is happy.
