冬奧會的英語介紹

冬季奧林匹克運動會(Winter Olympic Games)，簡稱爲冬季奧運會、冬奧會。

1986年，國際奧委會全會決定把冬季奧運會和夏季奧運會從1994年起分開 每兩年間隔舉行，992年冬季奧運會是最後一屆與夏季奧運會同年舉行的冬奧會。

The InternationalOlympic Committee has picked Beijing, China, as the host city for the 2022Winter Olympic games. The committee came together in Kuala Lumpur, Friday, andpicked Beijing over Almaty, Kazakhstan.

國際奧林匹克委員會最終選擇了中國的北京，作爲2022年冬季奧林匹克運動會的主辦城市。本週五的吉隆坡，在中國北京與哈薩克斯坦城市阿拉木圖之間，委員會選擇了前者。

　　The bids werevoted on by a group of 85 participants. Beijing’s bid received 44 votes,Almaty’s received 40 votes, with one abstention.

選舉結果來自85人蔘與的投票表決。北京獲得44票，阿拉木圖40票，棄權一票。

Beijing is now thefirst city to host both the summer and the winter Olympics.

北京成爲了第一個主辦夏季和冬季奧運會的城市。

“China is areliable partner because we always honor our commitment,”Wei Jizhong, a senior consultant for the Beijing bid, told the Chinese newsagency Xinhua before the vote. “The Beijing 2008 Summer Games are a perfectexample.”

“中國是可靠的合作伙伴，因爲我們一直信守我們的承諾，”北京申奧代表團高級顧問魏紀中在投票前對新華社表示，“2008年的北京奧運會就是一個很好的例子。”

The InternationalOlympic Committee also chose Lausanne, Switzerland, as the host city for the2020 Youth Winter Olympics on Friday. Lausanne beat Brasov, Romania for thechance to host the Youth Winter Olympics.

國際奧林匹克委員會也在上週五選擇了瑞士洛桑，作爲2020年青年冬季奧運會的主辦城市。洛桑擊敗了羅馬尼亞的布拉索夫，獲得青年冬奧會主辦權。

Last month, thecommittee announced that Pyeongchang, South Korea, will be the host of the 2018Winter Olympics.
