奧巴馬就冬奧會比賽打賭 輸掉一箱白宮蜂蜜啤酒大綱

Call it the Great Beer Bet of 2014. President Obama is putting a few brewskis on the line in a wager with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper as the men’s and women’s hockey teams from the U.S. and Canada are set to face off in the Olympics.

The president is betting cases of the White House Honey Porter, which is brewed on the White House grounds with honey from First Lady Michelle Obama’s a and Harper spent the day together in Toluca, Mexico, for the North American Leaders Summit Wednesday, where they “agreed to disagree on who to root for” in the upcoming hockey match-ups between the U.S. and Canada.

據美國媒體2月20日報道，奧巴馬和哈珀19日在墨西哥託盧卡市舉行的北美領導人峯會上會面，除了談論政治、經濟等話題外，兩人還達成了一項“賭球協議”。該協議規定，在本屆冬奧會女子冰球決賽和男子冰球半決賽中，奧巴馬和哈珀支持各自的國家隊，輸球的一方要送給勝者一箱啤酒。20日一早，美國白宮和哈珀本人分別在自己的官方微博上宣佈了上述消息。哈珀特意指明，他提供的賭注是加拿大產啤酒。而白宮表示，白宮自釀的“蜂蜜啤酒”將是奧巴馬的賭注。“蜂蜜啤酒”有淡啤和黑啤兩種，所用蜂蜜出自美國“第一夫人”米歇爾?奧巴馬在白宮花園內的蜂箱，在奧巴馬2012年競選連任時“上市”並大獲好評。
