如何翻譯英語加減乘除、分數、小數及百分數

1.表達形式

⑴分數

①基本規則：子基母序 (即：分子用基數詞，分母用序數詞)

②當分子大於1時，分母要加s變成複數。

2/3 two thirds 3/8 three eighths 5/12 five twelfths

③特殊的表達：

1/4 可以表示爲 one fourth 或者 a quarter

3/4 可以表示爲 three fourth 或者 three quarters

1/2 a half

⑵.小數

小數點前後的數均按基數詞來讀，小數點讀成point， 小數點後的數字逐位讀出。

⑶.百分數

漢語中先讀百分號，再讀數字;英語中恰恰相反：先念出數字，再加上百分號percent

2.由分數、小數或百分數構成主語時，其後的謂語跟分數、小數或百分數的單復並無關係，而是由這些數後的名詞的情況來決定。

⑴當所修飾的名詞是不可數名詞或可數名詞的單數時，謂語用單數。

⑵當所修飾的名詞是可數名詞的複數時，謂語用複數。
