做連詞可用於： 1.引導時間狀語從句 “在...的時候，當...”
2. 引導原因狀語從句 “因爲，由於”
3. 引導方式狀語從句 “依照，按照，如，像”
4. 引導讓步狀語從句 “儘管，雖說” 此種用法時從句要倒裝(表語倒裝，謂語倒裝，狀語倒裝)
5. as後跟名詞 (相當於一個時間狀語從句)

6. 和某些動詞連用，構成固定搭配.

7. 用於某些成語
