對劃線部分提問
做這類題目時應注意兩點：時態不變和正確使用提問詞
例如： lost the key to his bike on his way to the lecture1.(劃線提問)
What did he lose on his way to the lecture.(2004年中考題)
注：原句中lost是過去時，所以應用過去時提問。
students’projects will be on show in three days.(劃線提問)
注：in+一段時間表示從現在往後算，意爲“……之後”。提問詞應用Howsoon.
How soon will the students’projects be on show?(2006年中考題)。
改爲感嘆句
感嘆句分爲兩種：一種以What引導，一種以How引導。
What引導的感嘆句根據名詞的不同情況可分爲三種：
+a∕an+形容詞+名詞單數+陳述句!(陳述句可省)
+形容詞+名詞複數+陳述句!
+形容詞+不可數名詞+陳述句!
例： an honest girl she is!
beautiful flowers these are!
fine weather it is!
How引導的感嘆句句型爲：How+形容詞或副詞+陳述句!
例： interesting the story is!
fast the boy runs!

改爲一般疑問句、否定句或簡單句
做此類題時，同學們要注意原句中的人稱(遇到第三人稱單數時應正確使用相應的助動詞，時態不變)。
例：Sam often does his home-work after lunch.(改爲否定句)
Sam doesn’t do his homework afterlunch.
常見錯誤有：Sam does not his homework after lunch.
記住：does not後須跟動詞原形才能構成謂語。
改爲反意疑問句
在陳述句後加上一個意思與之相反的簡短問句，就是反意疑問句。
因此反意疑問句必須由意思相反的兩部分組成。也就是我們平時常說的：前肯後否或前否後肯。
例： didn’t take part in the after-school activity yesterday.(改爲反意疑問句)
Tom didn’t take part in the after-school activity yesterday,did he?(2006年中考試題)
was a wonderful night.(改爲反意疑問句)
That was a wonderful night,wasn’tit?
注：陳述部分如有表示否定意思的某些詞，如：never,little,few,hardly等等，疑問部分須用肯定式。
如：1) has never been to Japan,hashe?
2)e is little milk in the fridge,isthere?
3) few people understand what he said,do they?
保持句意基本不變
這是考覈學生能否正確運用不同的詞彙、詞組、結構及句型表示相同意思的能力。這是很多學生比較害怕的一類題，往往會被“卡住”而無從下手，但觀察近幾年中考試題所選用的句型，一般都是些常見的、典型的句型，同學們不必多擔心。但做這類題目時也要注意動詞時態不能變。
例：1)a spent one week finishing reading3 the book Harry4 Potter.(保持句意不變)
It took Laura one week to finish reading the book Harry Potter.(2006年中考試題)
2) didn’t say anything at the meeting.(保持句意不變)
He said nothing at the meeting.
3) are very kind to come and tell meall this.(保持句意不變)
It’s very kind of you to come and tell meall this.
4) on your coat,or you’ll catch a cold.(保持句意不變)
If you don’t put on your coat,you’ll catch a cold.
