表示請求、命令、要求、建議的虛擬句知識講解

1.表示請求的虛擬句
當人們表示很禮貌、客氣、委婉的請求時，經常用虛擬句。
最常用的是would，could：
Would you do me a favor?
你幫我一個忙好嗎?
Would you wait a while?
你稍等一會兒好嗎?
Could you lend me five dollars?
你能借給我五美元嗎?
Could you pass the bag to me?
你能把袋子遞給我嗎?

2.表示命令、要求、建議的虛擬句
這三種虛擬句中大多數用於賓語從句，也有少數用於其他場合：
2.1在下面幾個表示命令、要求、建議的動詞後面的賓語從句要用虛擬句：

He ordered that all the troops (should) chargeforward.

She suggested that the child (should) get up at 9.

2.2在suggestion,proposal, order, motion(動議), idea, plan, recommendation(推薦)等名詞後面的表語從句和同位語從句一般用虛擬句：
My suggestion is that the price (should) be cutdown in half.
我的建議是價格降低一半。
Here is his order that the second team replacethe first one.
這是他的命令：第二隊替換第一隊。
2.3常用hadbetter, could, would, might用於建議、勸告的虛擬句中：
You had better find out the truth.
你最好弄清楚實情。
You could save much time this way.
這樣你能節省大量時間。
It would be a bad plan to divide the school.
把學校分開是一個糟糕的計劃。
2.4在It issuggested (ordered, proposed, requested, important, desired, necessary,decided, strange, funny, surprising)後面的主語從句一般要用虛擬語氣。
It is suggested that the old house (should) be sold out.
有人建議把舊房子賣了。
It is necessary that everyone be present.
每個人到場是必要的。
It was strange that he should have failed in the exam.
