Kamelot(幸運星，又譯”亞瑟王宮殿“)來自美國佛羅里達的坦帕，是一支風格相當歐式的力量金屬樂團，由吉他手Thom Youngblood與鼓手Richard Warner在1991年成立。三年後，樂隊簽約Noice Records旗下。
forever歌手介紹1995年8月，樂團發行了首張專輯《Eternity》，Kamelot也開始引起樂迷及樂評們的注意。隔年Kamelot發行了第二張專輯《Dominion》，此張專輯較前一張作品獲到更廣大的好評，Kamelot展現了其音樂的廣闊性，強烈的歐洲金屬風格，加上前衛元素與古典色彩，同時，以中古世紀歐洲宮廷、城堡及騎士的史詩記事爲題的作風，企圖帶給所有聽者更大的想像空間!然而，就在96年秋天，Kamelot正要與Virgin Steele一同展開歐洲的巡迴演唱時，鼓手Richard Warner和主唱Mark Vanderbilt卻因私人因素而無法參與演出，於是他們兩人立刻被踢出樂團，而Kamelot亦不得不取消演出計劃。不久後，樂團找來新任鼓手Casey Grillo加入，不過在主唱方面卻一直找不到適任的人選，直到新專輯幾近完成之時，仍然獨缺主唱一職。終於，在一次因緣巧合之下，Thom得知同屬Noise旗下的樂團Conception解散的消息，於是便邀請其主唱Roy S. Khan加入，同時也順利地完成第三張專輯《Siege Perilous》的錄製，並於98年推出。優美的吉他旋律、交響式鍵盤加上帶點詭跼感的鋼琴，使整張專輯充滿著一種宮廷的富麗堂皇，與中古世紀的神祕氣息，同時Khan其充滿感情、蒼桑而又高亢的嗓音，更貼切地詮飾出這樣的史詩情懷。
2011年，主唱Roy Khan宣佈退隊，之後一段時間Kamelot的主唱由狂想曲的Fabio臨時替代。不過官方之後公佈，新主唱爲Seventh Wonder的Tommy Karevik，曾爲樂隊巡演代唱，據樂隊組建人及樂隊吉他手Thomas Youngblood介紹，Karevik在全世界八百名候選人中脫穎而出，並最終成爲了Kamelot的新主唱。2012年7月12日爲Karevik首場正式演出。樂隊於2012年10月26日發表全新第三張概念專輯《Silverthorn》。
