引導賓語從句的三類連接詞用法

一.連詞

①that:that 在大多數情況下可以省略，但在以下幾種情況下不可以省略：

1.動詞後接多於兩個由that引導的賓語從句時，第一個that可省，但後面的that不可省
eg.He said (that) you were too young to understand the matter and that he was asked not to tell you.

2.當主句的謂語動詞與that賓語從句之間有插入語時，that一般不可省
eg.Just then I noticed, for the first time, that he prepared to tAlk to us.

3.當that從句是雙賓語中的直接賓語時，that不可省
eg.I can’t tell him that his mother died.

4.當that置於句首時
eg.That our team will win，I believe.

② whether&if ：一般情況下兩者可以互換，但在以下幾種情況下兩者不能互換：

只能用whether：
1. 在帶to的不定式前
eg.We decided whether to help him.

2. 在介詞的後面
eg.I’m thinking of whether we should help him.

3. 在動詞後面的賓語從句時
eg. We discussed whether we should help him.

4. 直接與or not連用時
eg. I can’t say whether or not they will help him.

只能用if：
1.if引導的表假設的從句：
eg. He will be saved if we help him.

2.if引導的表否定的從句:
eg. He asked if I didn’t help him.

3. 直接使用even if和as if
eg. He talks as if he has known all about it.

二.連接代詞：who,whom,whose,which,what
eg. Can you tell me who you want to help?

三.連接副詞有：when,where,why,how等
eg. All of us don't know where he lives.
