　　一、英語笑話

Three pastors in the south were having lunch in a diner. One said, You know, since summer started I’ve been having trouble with bats in my loft(閣樓) and attic at church. I’ve tried everything----noise, spray, cats----nothing seems to scare them away.

Another said, Yes, me too. I’ve got hundreds living in my belfry(鐘樓) and in the attic. I’ve been had the place fumigated(熏製) , and they still won’t go away.

The third said, I baptized(洗禮) all mine, and made them members of the n’t seen one back since!

三個南部的牧師在一家小餐館裏吃午飯。其中的一個說道：“你們知道嗎，自從夏天來臨，我的教堂的閣樓和頂樓就被蝙蝠騷擾，我用盡了一切辦法----噪音、噴霧、貓----似乎什麼都不能把它們趕走。”

另外一位說：“是啊，我也是。在我的鐘樓和閣樓也有好幾百只。我曾經請人把整個地方用煙燻消毒一遍，它們還是趕不走。”

第三個牧師說：“我爲我那裏的所有蝙蝠洗禮，讓它們成爲教會的一員......從此一隻也沒有再回來過。”

　　二、英語小故事

The little grass YinYin liked the color silver.

小草銀銀喜歡銀色。

In spring time, little grass Yinyin asked the Lady of Spring to dye her hair silver. The Lady of Spring said: “I’m sorry, YinYin, I can only dye your hair blue/green [see explanation]. YinYin was very broken-hearted.

春天，小草銀銀讓春姑娘把她的頭髮染成銀色。春姑娘說：“對不起，銀銀，我只能把你的頭髮染成青色”。銀銀非常傷心。

In summer time, little grass YinYin asked the Lady of Summer to dye her hair silver. The lady of summer said, “I’m sorry, YinYin, I can only dye your hair green!” YinYin was very broken-hearted.

夏天小草銀銀讓夏姑娘把她的頭髮染成銀色。夏姑娘說：“對不起，銀銀，我只能把你的頭髮染成深綠色”。銀銀非常傷心。

In autumn, little grass YinYin asked the Lady of Autumn to dye her hair silver. The Lady of Autumn said: “I’m sorry, YinYin, I can only dye your hair golden yellow.” YinYin was very broken-hearted.

秋天小草銀銀讓秋姑娘把她的頭髮染成銀色。秋姑娘說：“對不起，銀銀，我只能把你的頭髮染成金黃色”。銀銀非常傷心。

In winter, little grass YinYin asked the Lady of Winter to dye her hair silver. The Lady of Winter said, “Okay, but won’t you regret it?” YinYin said, “I won’t, if I had hair that beautiful I couldn’t be happier!”

冬天小草銀銀讓冬姑娘把她的頭髮染成銀色。冬姑娘說：“好啊，不過你可不要後悔呦”?銀銀說：“不會的，有了那麼漂亮的頭髮我高興還來不及呢”!

And so YinYin’s hair turned silver. Suddenly, YinYin’s hair fell out – how could this be? Of course, if you dye your hair too often, it’s not good for you. And after this YinYin was indeed regretful.

就這樣銀銀的頭髮變成了銀色。忽然，銀銀的頭髮掉下來了，這是怎麼回事呢?原來，頭髮染多了是會傷害身體的。這下銀銀真的後悔了。
