維密內褲因甲醛超標已在上海銷燬

An employee of US lingerie brand Victoria's Secret has confirmed that a batch of panties found to contain excessive quantities of formaldehyde has been destroyed, following news reports that the Shanghai authorities had seized substandard food and clothing, including the company's garments.

上海有關部門近日截獲了不合格的食品和服裝，其中包括美國內衣品牌“維多利亞的祕密”的產品。相關新聞報道出現後，維祕的工作人員證實，一批被檢出甲醛含量超標的內褲已被銷燬。

"The involved batch of underpants has been destroyed. All Victoria's Secret products sold in stores and on the official online shop meet national standards," a customer service employee said.

一名客服員工稱：“這批超標內褲已被銷燬。實體店和官方網店在售的所有維祕產品均符合國家標準。”

She said that the company's products undergo quality assurance examinations from both the company and Chinese government before being put onto shelves, and any items found to be unqualified for sale are destroyed immediately.

她表示，維祕的產品在上架前都要接受公司和中國政府的質量保證檢查，未達銷售標準的產品一經發現直接銷燬。

Five batches of imported Ralph Lauren clothing were also destroyed for high pH index or failing safety indexes for buttons and belts on children's clothing.

此外，五批拉夫·勞倫進口服裝也因pH值超標或童裝鈕釦、繩帶安全指標不合格而被銷燬。

Textiles with a high pH index could lead to skin allergies, while excessive exposure to formaldehyde can lead to headaches, dermatitis, respiratory disease, eczema and even poisoning.

pH值超標的紡織產品可能導致皮膚過敏，而過多接觸甲醛會引起頭痛、皮炎、呼吸疾病、溼疹甚至中毒。

In total, 400 batches of substandard imported clothing have been destroyed in Shanghai since March, with a total value of about US$300,000. They were confiscated at the Pudong International Airport and Waigaoqiao port.

自今年3月以來，總共已有400批不合格的進口服裝在上海被銷燬，其總價值約爲30萬美元。它們都是在浦東國際機場和外高橋港口被沒收的。
