Baikal is impressive. It's the deepest and the cleanest Lake on Earth.

Lake Baikal is about 600km in length. Ice has different patterns in different parts of the lake. It happens because water is freezing layer by layer. Especially it is very interesting to find a fish or a branch in the ice.
貝加爾湖長約600千米，湖水不同水域的冰圖案各不相同，這是因爲冰是一層一層結起來的。冰層裏找到一條魚或者樹枝則尤爲有意思。

The ice in Baikal is the most transparent in the world! The water in the lake is so clear, that you can see various objects on the depth of 40 meters.
貝加爾湖的是世界上透明度最高的。湖水至清，可以看到水深40米處各色物件。

Baikal is also the deepest lake. In some parts ice is slippery like the mirror. You can shoot ideal reflections.
貝加爾湖也是最深的湖，部分湖域光滑如鏡，可以拍到理想的倒影。

Ice is cracking all the time. Cracks happen every year, approximately at the same areas of the lake. The are followed by a loud crack that reminds of thunder or gun shot. Thanks to the cracks, the fish in the lake don't die from the lack of oxygen.
冰無時無刻不在開裂，年年都發生，每次開裂的地方都基本一樣。冰面裂開時一聲巨響，讓人想起雷鳴和槍聲。也多虧了裂縫，湖裏的魚纔不會缺氧致死。
