同學們在寫雅思作文的時候，不是在湊字數，就是寫作字數不夠，字數不夠的原因有兩個，其一是雅思考生的詞彙量不夠，其二就是時間不夠，來不及寫。雅思寫作字數不夠會被扣分嗎?

寫不到字數是肯定會扣分的。規定字數是150個，如果只寫到139個，則一定會被扣1分。但是如果能寫到145個字，則考官會認爲“文章長度可以接受”，可能根據文章的水平來評判，不至於扣掉1分。同樣的規則適用於250個字的大作文。
雅思寫作字數不夠怎麼解決
方法一：邏輯語言—— 邏輯，必須能讓考官讀出思維過程，不是在拉雜亂扯。有的同學有一種無論拿到什麼話題都可以用英語無限扯下去的本事，這其實沒任何用處。或許應付內英語考試面對考官對話或者找partner對話還能應付過去，或者多雅思寫作還稍微用得上，託福用不上。
方法二：深入分析——Analyze Deeply。很多時候，字數不夠是因爲無話可說，無話可說是因爲觀點很少甚至沒有觀點。其實，我們並不需要太多的觀點，對一個觀點進行深入分析，也可以有很豐富的寫法。任何一個觀點都是可以分出層次的。只要我們能夠分出一二三點來，一個觀點就可以裂解爲多個觀點，每個觀點寫幾句，字數就會有顯著上升。當然，在分割觀點的時候要注意前後的邏輯關係和界限，不要把幾個觀點混淆起來。
方法三：多個方面——Think in different aspects。很多時候同一件事情從不同的方面說就有不同的觀點。秋季雅思寫作班來舉個例子，限制購買車輛，單寫出來是一件很簡單的事情，也不需要很多字數;但是，如果從政府、上班族、汽車生產者、汽車銷售商等多個角度去考慮和落筆，文章就豐富了，字數也上去了。
方法四：正說反說——Divide into two sides。一個觀點，乃至一件事情，不論如何肯定都有正反兩個方面。這一方面是說一個事情肯定有利有弊，另一方面是說人們的態度也有支持和反對兩種。在寫作文的時候，如果能夠注意支持一面的同時，對立場相左的一方予以分析並進行反駁，則文章內容更加豐富，邏輯更加完整，字數也不用擔心。
雅思寫作字數不夠，先給雅思考官的映像就不好了，那麼再好的文章，分數也不會很高。要想寫好文章，還是要注意平時多積累詞彙，多練習寫作，從多方面去闡述，自然字數也上去了，分數也高了，何樂而不爲呢?
