關於一種語言的消失是否值得挽救的話題，實際上涉及到兩個雅思寫作中比較重要的考點：1、語言相關的話題，可以從不同角度來出題。2、救不救的問題，包括動物救不救，植物救不救，文化救不救，語言救不救等，大家學習時要善於從“考點”的角度來看待素材，使備考更加具有針對性。

雅思寫作語言點精講
1. 本句可以作爲觀點句使用，首先說明一種語言永遠消失不是什麼好事，但表述也並不絕對，因爲在句尾補充到“要看這一特定語言的前景如何”
2. losing a language forever，動名詞做主語，表示“一種語言永遠消失”
3. regrettable，表示消極意義的形容詞，意思是“令人遺憾的”，“可惜的”，之前使用副詞來修飾形容詞，obviously表示“很顯然”，“明顯地”。日常寫作中應該不斷增加表示積極或消極意義形容詞的積累
4. so 表示因果關係，屬於句內銜接
5. it may be worthwhile for sb. to do sth. 常用句型需要積累，同時注意may be屬於非絕對化表達，雅思寫作的議論文中不會有太多非黑即白的觀點，因此很多時候表達中需要“留有餘地”
6. intervene with funding，干預，干預用的手段是funding，即“提供資金”，同時需要注意介詞with不要用錯，補充：to hope for government funding 希望獲得政府資助。
7. keep it alive，表示“使之繼續存在”，注意keep+n+adj的用法
