中国两大叫车服务提供商之间的大型合并案可能会遇到障碍，因为中国反袭击监管机构表示正在对这起合并案展开调查。

ride-hailing service providers是叫车服务提供商；antitrust是反垄断。
周五，商务部在北京召开的新闻发布会上表示，目前，商务部已对滴滴优步合并案（merger deal）是否涉嫌垄断（potential monopoly）展开调查。
商务部发言人（spokesman）沈丹阳介绍，2016年8月1日，滴滴出行宣布与优步全球达成战略协议（agreement to tie-up），将收购（acquire）优步中国的全部资产。8月2日，交易双方履行股权变更登记手续，完成交割。此案此前未向商务部申报（without filing any application to the ministry in advance）。
商务部已两次约谈滴滴出行，要求其说明交易情况、未申报的原因（explain the reason of not filing application），提交有关文件、资料（submit related documents）；与有关部门和企业（related government organizations and enterprises）座谈，了解网约车运营模式和相关市场竞争状况（market competition）等。
下一步，商务部将继续依法推进本案调查工作（push the investigation forward），保护相关市场公平竞争（make sure the playing field is leveled），维护消费者利益（the interest of consumers is protected）和社会公共利益。
