什麼是英語對偶句常見的短語

英語中有很多的對偶詞構成的短語，在會話或者寫作中用得巧會爲我們的話語添彩，爲我們的文章增色。下面是本站小編整理的，歡迎閱讀。

對偶是用字數相等、結構形式相同、意義對稱的一對短語或句子來表達兩個相對或相近意思的修辭方式。當然，要兩面對稱不能多字也不能少字。

對偶句就是把意思相近或相反的兩個句子或詞組對稱地排列在一起的一種修辭方式。

運用對偶時，一要注意內容形式的統一，切忌片面追求形式上的整齊對稱而任意拼湊。二要注意前後句子之間的邏輯關係，避免頭重腳輕，互相包容或概念重複等現象。

(1)back and forth：來來回回，往復

The swing moved back and forth.鞦韆來回擺動

(2)black and white：白紙黑字

He said he would go through fire and water for her

(6)here and there：四處，到處

(7)neither here and there：題外話的，與主題無關的

我四處尋找我的手錶

(9)blow hot and cold：猶豫不決，舉棋不定

My relationship with him blew hot and cold，sometimes we met every day;sometimes we didn't see each other for months

(我和他的關係時冷時熱......)

(10)the long and short of it：總的來說

The long and short of it is that he can't cope

總的來說，他不善於應付(各種情況)

(11)more or less：多少有點，左右

I was more or less tired after the trip

旅行後我多少有點疲勞

(12)sooner or later：遲早

Sooner or later he will come
