讓我們集中注意力

當你在主持會議時,及時的集中大家的注意力是至關重要的。最好的開始會議的方式就是給出直接的陳述。"The purpose of this meeting is to decide on the company logo."避免類似以下的間接的陳述,"Well, here's the agenda,"或是"Maybe we should get started."那你會馬上失去別人的注意力。

語氣重的單詞

你的老闆把每個人叫就辦公室商談一個問題同時也詢問了你的意見。將你的回覆以"I recommend ..."或是"In my opinion ...."開始。此外, 要用權威性的語氣回答,使用 "should" 而不用"could"使語氣更強。"In my opinion, we should consider different vendors1" 比"Maybe we could think about different vendors."語氣更強。

強硬的談話

如果你想讓語氣聽起來以上的句子更重的話,那就用"I'm positive that ?或是"I really feel that ?來開始,說,"I'm positive that it's the vendor's fault"想聽者表示出你對此是非常的肯定。就是說,“我很肯定,那你也應該肯定!”沒那麼自信的人會說,A"John in Marketing2 said it could be the vendor's fault. I thought he had a good point."

商務討論有時會跑題。因此你就需要用一個非常有技巧的方式來讓別人重新集中注意力。如果感覺討論不是很有效率無論在一個大型會議中或是和同事的非正式談話中,你就可以說,"Let's move on to the next point."這保證了你始終擁有討論的控制權只要你不用 "Maybe"或是"Um."開始你的講話。
