1. Expression：in the doghouse

Explanation：In trouble with someone due to one's misdeeds or blunders. （因爲某人的錯誤而與人發生矛盾或糾紛，令……生氣）

Usage：表示“令某人生氣”，在短語的後面用介詞with，be in the doghouse with someone。也可以用和動詞get，put連用表示同樣的意思，即：get somebody in the doghouse with someone。

Example：I've been in the doghouse with my mom and dad ever since they saw my grades from last semester. I admit that I failed math and barely passed English, but these are tough courses!
自從我媽媽和爸爸看到我上學期的成績單以後，他們一直對我很生氣。我承認我數學不及格，英語也勉強及格，可是這些都是很難的課程！
