1. achieve 實現; 獲得 (默認獲得的東西是積極的、愉快的事物)
achieve aims/goals/success/a good result
achieve 一般與令人愉快的事連用，不要受漢語的影響用來表示一般意義的“達到”：
He will achieve the age of 25 next month.
The car achieved a speed of 150 mph.
2. the+adj.=一類
英語中很多形容詞用來修飾人/物，因此常省略名詞，留下the +形容詞表示一類人/物或整體。
the rich 富人們

英國人的幽默感很好。
