喬治·蕭伯納(1856-1950)是愛爾蘭人，在 1925 年獲得諾貝爾文學獎，其作品《賣花女》在1935年拍爲電影並獲得奧斯卡最佳劇本獎，他也是倫敦大學的倫敦經濟學院創辦人之一。
