討論:那部電影讓我淚流滿面

Last night, I was idling and decided to sort out my downloaded movies in my computer, which haven’t been touched for quite a time. A particular one caught my attention. It’s “Hachiko: A dog’s story” (忠犬八公的故事). It was recommended by one of my friends who have pet dogs. According to her, it was a sensational movie that would absolutely consume a lot of my tissues. Since I was in good mood, I didn’t mind trying to challenge my tear gland.
This is a family film without explosions, computer graphics and violence. It’s a story which portrays the bond developed between one man and a dog. The dog named Hachiko is adopted by a professor who bumped into him accidentally in a train station after work. Then the story begins. Hachiko becomes one of the most important parts in professor’s life. He loves him like a family member. What’s interesting is that Hachiko will see the professor off to work at the train station right on time by his own and meet him after work as well. And it never stops no matter what, even after the professor passed away. He still keeps waiting for his man for over 9 years, though he will no longer meet him again.
There’s one scene that the dying dog with a hope in his eye lay in front of the station, looking forward to the professor’s coming back. I can’t help my tears.I was strongly affected by Hachiko’s loyalty and the life-long love between them.
After googling, I know that the movie is actually based on a true story taken place in Japan. The dog now became a national treasure. And there’s even a monument erected in Shibuya Station to memory this dog. You could still see its bronze statue there in Japan.
This was the last time that I cried for a movie story.
