Dr. Cullen: Well, Bella, looks like you 【26】took quite a spill. How do you feel? 
Bella: Good. 
Dr. Cullen: Look here. You might experience some post-traumatic stress or disorientation, but your vitals look good. No signs of any head trauma. I think you'll be just fine. 
TYLER: I'm so sorry, Bella. I'm really... 
Bella: You know, it would've been a 【27】whole lot worse if Edward wasn't there. He knocked me out of the way. 
CHARLIE: Edward? Your boy? 
Bella: Yeah, it was amazing. I mean, he got to me so fast. He was nowhere near me. 
Dr. Cullen: Sounds like you were very lucky. 【28】Charlie.

【24】口語詞組：sure as hell
用於表示千真萬確的，不同爭辯的。通常帶有一定的生氣情緒在裏頭。
It sure as hell is not okay. 當然不可能沒關係啦！

【25】口語詞組：kiss your license goodbye
kiss sth. goodbye就是與某物吻別，意思是準備失去某樣東西吧。帶有一些的諷刺語氣。
當然也可以用作kiss sb. goodbye，與某人吻別。

【26】俚語講解：took quite a spill
take a spill是個俚語詞組，就是摔了一跤、撞到路面的意思，但有點調侃的口氣。
spill一詞除了溢出的意思之外，還能表示摔落、暴跌等。

【27】口語用法：whole lot worse
前面的whole lot是用來修飾worse的程度，表示情況會是完全不一樣的糟糕。
比較級前面的修辭還有不少，包括even、far、still等等。

【28】口語用法：Charlie
醫生這裏最後的一聲Charlie並不只是簡單的打招呼，隱藏未表述的意思則是“接着就交給你了”。生活中當我們說完話讓別人接着說的時候，就可以直接叫他/她的名字，示意由其繼續。
這種用法在新聞轉播的過程中很常見。
