多麼美麗的清晨，開始了新的一天，新的一課。歡迎回來，這裏是《Faith口語課堂-天天學》，我是Faith老師。今天的快樂英語之行就要啓動了。
今天，我們主要學習如何表達“沒能力做某事”，或“不勝任某項工作”，首先介紹這個詞：beyond, 用“be beyond something”可以表示“某件事超過了…...”。如：
This unique job is beyond my ability. 這項特殊的工作超出了我的能力。
It's beyond my imagination. 這超出了我的想象。
Those results were beyond dispute. 那些結果不容爭辯。
Be incapable of doing something，這是一個很好的表示“沒能力做某事”的句型。如：
Your friend is incapable of handling your own problems. 你的朋友沒能力處理你自己的問題。
We’re incapable of penetrating into the European market that is already saturated. 我們沒能力進入歐洲市場，這個市場已經飽和了。
I’m afraid that I’m incapable of talking him out of it. 我恐怕沒法說服他不做那件事。
那麼，Be capable of doing something就是相反的意思了，“有能力做某事”。如：
My brother is capable of running his own business. 我哥哥有能力自己創業。
Be incompetent in something, be incompetent as something, be incompetent to do something，表示“沒能力勝任某事”。如：
I can tell you’re incompetent in your work. 我看得出來你不勝任你的工作。
Jane is incompetent as a marketing director. 簡不勝任市場總監這個職業。
I’m incompetent to run for the mayor. 我沒能力競選市長。
那麼，Be competent就是“有能力，能勝任某事了”。如：
Everybody should be competent enough to win this contest. 每個人都必須有足夠的能力以便贏得這次比賽。
