美語情景對話 第920期:Katia's Weekend 卡蒂亞的週末

Alex: Hey Katia. What about you? Tell me about your weekends. What do you usually do on the weekends?

亞歷克斯：嘿，卡蒂亞，你呢？跟我說說你怎麼過週末吧。你通常週末都做什麼？

Katia: Well, every weekend I think it's different but usually in the mornings I wake up and I'm actually very relaxed because I know I don't have a schedule so usually I have coffee, breakfast and then I plan my weekend. So sometimes I do things only by myself but sometimes I go with friends. I like going to restaurants, I like being in nature, I like biking, so there are many things but I think every weekend is different. It depends on how I'm feeling that day.

卡蒂亞：嗯，每個週末都不一樣，通常我早上醒來以後會感覺非常放鬆，因爲我知道當天沒什麼安排，所以我會喝杯咖啡，吃早餐，然後開始計劃週末的活動。有時我會一個人外出，有時我和朋友們一起玩，我喜歡去餐廳，我喜歡大自然，喜歡騎自行車，有很多事情可以做，所以每個週末的安排都不一樣。這要看我當時的感覺。

Alex: Nice. You were saying you plan your weekends, like you can plan them in advance or something that just as it goes, kind of like do things. How does it work?

亞歷克斯：真好。你剛纔說你會計劃週末的活動，你是會提前安排，還是想做什麼就去做。你是怎樣安排的？

Katia: Well usually in the mornings I check what I feel like doing and then that's what I plan. So for example, if I wake up and I feel like going, it's a nice day, I like to go to a park and then to the beach, then that's my plan so that's how I plan it. It's right on the moment. So it's somewhat of a plan.

卡蒂亞：通常早上我會想想我想做什麼，然後開始計劃。比如，如果我起牀以後我發現那天是個好天，我會想去公園和海灘，那這就是我的計劃。通常都是當時決定的。可以說算是計劃吧。

Alex: You look like you enjoy going shopping a lot. Do you go shopping sometimes on the weekends?

亞歷克斯：你看起來很喜歡購物。你週末會去購物嗎？

Katia: Not at all. I don't like shopping at all. I wish I would enjoy it but I just, all the time it's the same. You see the same things, the same people, so it's the same all the time so it's not so exciting for me. I really don't enjoy it. Only I go if I have to.

卡蒂亞：不會。我一點兒也不喜歡購物。我也希望我能享受購物，不過我覺得什麼都是一樣的。你看到的東西是一樣的，人也是一樣的，什麼都是一樣的，所以不太能讓我提起興趣。我真的不喜歡購物。只有在必要的時候纔去購物。

Alex: Do you have your friends over or do you usually go visit friends or family during the weekends?

亞歷克斯：那週末你會請朋友來家裏玩或去拜訪朋友和家人嗎？

Katia: Sometimes I have my friends over. Usually have a small dinner, nice conversations and yeah just a quiet evening with my friends. And yes, and Sundays are family days so I reserve Sundays for my family.

卡蒂亞：有時我會請朋友來家裏玩。通常我們會簡單吃個晚飯，好好聊聊天，和朋友度過一個輕鬆的夜晚。週日是家庭日，我會把週日空出來，和家人一起度過。

Alex: Do you travel or do you go places around your city?

亞歷克斯：那你會去旅遊嗎，在你所在的城市四處轉轉？

Katia: If I have the opportunity definitely. I think it's always nice to go out from your everyday routine. So if I can, of course I love to travel.

卡蒂亞：如果我有機會，一定會去。我認爲擺脫每天的例行工作非常好。如果可以的話，我會的，而且我喜歡旅遊。

Alex: That's interesting.
